Larissa Groeneveld


Larissa Groeneveld (1966) graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory in 1990 as a student of Dmitri Ferschtman. After that she continued her studies with Natalia Gutman in Stuttgart. In 1988, she founded the Osiris Trio together with Ellen Corver and Peter Brunt. Together they achieved great international success. Her repertoire is diverse, ranging from Bach to contemporary composers, some of whom composed pieces specifically for her. She has played premiers of Yannis Kyriakides, Theo Verbey, and Mathilde Wantenaar during the Cello Biennale. Larissa Groeneveld is a teacher at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
