De cello kennen we allemaal, maar hoe zit het met die bijzondere en (inmiddels) minder bekende familieleden van de cello? Sergej Malov en Mario Brunello presenteren hun instrumenten.

Sergej Malov bespeelt de cello da spalla, een kleine cello, tegen de schouder bespeeld. Op dinsdagochtend speelt hij op de cello da spalla de zesde Bachsuite tijdens Bach & Breakfast.

Mario Brunello bespeelt een viersnarige cello piccolo, wat letterlijk 'kleine cello' betekent. 

 

We all know the cello, but what about those special and (now) lesser-known family members of the cello? Sergei Malov and Mario Brunello present their instruments.

Sergei Malov plays the cello da spalla, a small cello, played against the shoulder. On Tuesday morning, he will play the sixth Bach suite on the cello da spalla during Bach & Breakfast.

Mario Brunello plays a four-string cello piccolo, which literally means 'small cello'.
