Six festival days start the way any day really should start: with a light breakfast and freshly pressed orange juice, a warm croissant and a cappuccino, followed by one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s six Cello Suites, each one performed by a different cellist. A Biënnale classic, loved by everyone!

Normally the suites are performed by cellists who have not performed on the Biënnale. Specially for the tenth Cello Biënnale, we have asked six ‘veterans’ who have previously graced our mornings at half past nine.
