Six festival days start just the way any day should: a light breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice and a warm croissant with a cappuccino, followed by one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s six Cello Suites, each one performed by a different soloist. A universally loved Biënnale classic! 
 
After 10 Biënnales, the most sacred of all cello repertoire is stretched slightly. All six cellists have been asked to add a short solo piece in the context of the festival theme Shifting Borders. You will discover their selection during the Biennale.

Breakfast is included in entrance fee. Buffet is open from 8.45.
