Program

Johann Sebastian Bach Suite No. 1 in G 
And a solo piece to be announced 

Six festival days start just the way any day should: a light breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice and a warm croissant with a cappuccino, followed by one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s six Cello Suites, each one performed by a different soloist. A universally loved Biënnale classic! 
 
After 10 Biënnales, the most sacred of all cello repertoire is stretched slightly. All six cellists have been asked to add a short solo piece in the context of the festival theme Shifting Borders. 

Breakfast is included in entrance fee. Buffet is open from 8.45.
