Sander van Elferen
Drums
Sander van Elferen is a drummer from The Hague who grew up in France and later returned to his home country to pursue his musical ambitions.
During his studies at the Haarlem Conservatory, he performed with various bands in The Netherlands and abroad, and did his first performances and recordings as a session drummer. Sander also began to teach drums in The Hague, something he still does to this day.
In 2018, Sander joined the Zappa tribute band Zappatika, featuring Frank Zappa’s original lead singer Ike Willis, and over the following two years toured extensively in the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands.
After a short series of performances in the United Kingdom, Spain, and The Netherlands in 2023, Sander joined the prog-rock artist Abraham Sarache, completing the band’s new formation. They are currently putting finishing touches to their new album.
