In the first edition of CELLOFEST in 2018, Marie Spaemann stole the show with her intimate pop songs combining jazz, soul and a dash of classical. Now she returns together with the Austrian accordionist Christian Bakanic, who adds tango nuevo and European folk to the mix of styles.

Spaemann and Bakanic constantly explore the possibilities of their instruments. Groovy bass lines and percussion elements alternate with Bakanic’s improvisations and Marie Spaemann’s playing.
