The Irish cellist and singer Naomi Berrill is a unique voice in the international musical landscape. After her classical education in Scotland, Italy, and Switzerland, Naomi began experimenting with the cello as an accompanying instrument to the voice. She arranges and composes music for voice and cello. Naomi has a unique way of working with music from different genres and eras, and using these as a source of inspiration to create new material. She is based in Florence and also plays the guitar, piano, and concertina.

For her performance at the Cello Biënnale 2026, she is bringing her Italian trio to Amsterdam.
