Anastasia Feruleva lives in The Netherlands, where she earned her master’s degree cum laude at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, studying with Larissa Groeneveld. In 2018, she completed her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin studying with Troels Svane, also cum laude. During the 2016 Cello Biënnale, she won Second Prize at the National Cello Competition, as well as receiving the award for the best performance of the commissioned work Air by Rob Zuidam. She regularly performs as a chamber musician at various festivals and frequently appears as a soloist with major orchestras. Composer Pēteris Vasks praised her for her compelling and expressive interpretation of his cello concerto. Anastasia Feruleva is currently a member of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
