Charlotte Gulikers


Charlotte Gulikers (1995) started playing the cello when she was 8. In 2009, she was admitted to the young talent department of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. There she graduated under the guidance of Lucia Swarts and Dmitri Ferschtman. She later studied with Maarten Mostert at the Amsterdam Conservatory, where obtained her bachelor’s degree. Two years later, she completed her master’s with Pieter Wispelwey. 

Charlotte has been a member of the international Theresia Orchestra since 2019, an orchestra specialized in playing classical repertoire on authentic instruments. Charlotte Gulikers plays on a cello built by Cornelis Weel in 1853, Utrecht.
