The Hello Cello Orchestra plays a key role in every Cello Biennale, offering a seat to 140 young cellists (<18) from the whole of the Netherlands. As in previous editions of the Cello Biennale, the Hello Cello Orchestra will be taking the stage during the opening weekend. Joel Siepmann, principal cellist of the Metropole Orchestra, leads the orchestra and has written new compositions and arrangements.
Concert
This year's final concert of the Hello Cello Orchestra will take place on Saturday 31 October at 4 p.m. in the Main Hall of the Muziekgebouw. Rehearsals will be held beforehand at 2 p.m.
