Despite the threat of being silenced by a virus, we are happy to announce that the festival still stands! From October 22nd until 31st, the highest level of cello playing across the globe will come together at the eighth Cello Biënnale Amsterdam. Ten days filled with live music, the National Cello Competition, masterclasses, concerts, and music theatre.
This year the Biënnale will be much less crowded than usual, because following the guidelines of 1.5 metres distance means concert halls cannot accommodate as many people as before. So don’t wait too long to buy your tickets.
Buy your tickets here.
Tickets are available for purchase via our website or by phone (020 788 2000). The front desk of the Muziekgebouw is closed for now. Tickets must be bought prior to your festival visit, there will not be any box office sales at the festival this year.
In the unfortunate event the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam has to be cancelled, you will be refunded the full amount of any tickets purchased.
