Brannon Cho studied at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music and the New England Conservatory with Hans Jørgen Jensen and Laurence Lesser. He won first prize at the International Paulo Cello Competition and is laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, the Naumburg International Cello Competition, and the Cassadó International Cello Competition. Brannon Cho played as a soloist with several of the world’s best orchestras, and performed as a chamber musician with Anne-Sophie Mutter, Christian Tetzlaff, Gidon Kremer, and Joshua Bell, among others. He received a scholarship from the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation, and the Ivan Galamian Award in 2019. This year he will follow the Professional Studies Program at the Kronberg Academy with Frans Helmerson.
