Jérémie Queyras

Visual artist

Jérémie Queyras was born in Paris in 1997, in a family of musicians, and grew up in Freiburg, Germany. From an early age, he was surrounded by musicians and spent a lot of time around art, which led him to explore the relationship between painting and music. This interest resulted in several performances with musicians, in which he paints live on stage. In 2021 he received the 1st prize of the Goodmesh competition with Charlotte Spruit for their performance project that combines music and painting.

In 2019 he graduated from the Art Academy London where he studied with artists such as Tai Shan Schierenberg, Brendan Kelly, Julian Wild, and Suzanne Dutoit. He was awarded the Leo Gallery Shanghai residency at the end of his Fine Art degree. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Fine[PB1]  Art in Transdisciplinary New Media at the Paris College of Art. He constantly strives to push the boundaries of painting as a purely contemplative, timeless form of art by incorporating new technologies into his works. Jérémie Queyras lives and works in Paris, France. His exhibits and performances take place around the world.
