Vocals and actor
Kiki Jaski is a Dutch actress and theater maker. In 2007 she graduated as a director from the Theater Academy in Maastricht. Before her graduation she already appeared a number of times in productions with fellow students, such as Brand, Joie de Vivre!, Cordelia spreekt, De vlekkelozen en De Mensenhater. Since her graduation, Jaski regularly performs in performances such as Alleen voor grote mensen (2006) and Vaders (2009) with theater company BonteHond, De zwijnen (2009) at Stichting Het Laagland, Rampentraining voor stewardessen (2011) and Death by PowerPoint (2013) at Golden Palace and De reis van je leven (2013) at Knoest.
She also appeared in the Dutch television series Flikken Maastricht and Jonge Garde, and in the short film Sorry (2019).
In 2013, Jaski founded the theater company Groenteman & Vrouw with her husband Jan Groenteman. Groenteman has a background as a musician and songwriter, so they complement each other nicely. They describe their performances as “reality revue, accessible and raw music theater about big themes”.
They play in theaters and at festivals with their performances Als je mij maar nooit vergeet (2013), Op zoek naar junkie Yamilla (2014), Broertje dood (2016) en Ik vertrek – de musical (2016).
