Nil Domenech Fuertes
Nil Domenech Fuertes (1996) started studying music theory at age five and began taking cello lessons one year later. In 2014 he was accepted into the Prins Claus Conservatorium in the class of Jan-Ype Nota, for which he was financially supported by the Klaas Dijkstra Fonds. He completed his course there with the highest distinction. He continued studying at the Royal Conservatoire with Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota. He is also enrolled in the orchestra master with the Residentie Orkest. He has received masterclasses from, among others, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Michel Strauss, Amir Eldan, Lluis Claret, Maria de Macedo, Harro Ruijsenaars, and Amparo Lacruz. Nil Domenech Fuertes also performed at the Peter de Grote Festival and has performed as a soloist with GSO MIRA and brass band Tida Kira. He was the co-principal of the National Youth Orchestra.
